Classic Daiquiri
This previously dark and dated kitchen was renovated with a light and modern new look, thanks to white cabinets from Legacy Crafted. The designer created a new layout to maximize storage and functionality, while creating a welcoming space for family and guests to gather. The substantial furniture-style island gives the room a classic and warm feeling and complements the wood range hood and crown molding. The white quartz countertop and full height backsplash are both contemporary and timeless.
The previous layout had an awkward coffin-shaped island surrounded by very tight work areas near the sink and other appliances. The eating are was tucked into ta corner and hardly ever used. The designer created zones in the new layout with the cooking prep area at the front and the entertaining area off to one side opposite the island from the bench area. On the other side of the kitchen, in the previous breakfast nook we added pantry storage and a coffee bar.
